About

The Northern Illinois Food Bank was incorporated in November 1982, by Sister Rosemarie Burian. The Northern Illinois Food Bank is a non-profit organization that relies on generous donors, volunteers, and community partners. Its main goal is to solve the problem of hunger by providing meals to those in need throughout its 13-county district area.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank has partnered up with local food pantries, other feeding programs, food manufacturers, and foundations to create positive change and make sure no one in Northern Illinois is hungry.
