Team 4296 Community Outreach
Team 4296 recognizes the importance of furthering FIRST’s mission of creating opportunities for students interested in STEM and to give back to the community who continues to support our team. The team volunteers at local food banks, Feed My Starving Children(FMSC), and gives presentation at Medical Centers and local libraries. We also focus on sustaining programs such as STEMBots, FIRST Tech Challenge(FTC) and FIRST Lego League(FLL). In addition to creating more FTC and FLL teams, Team 4296 would like to increase their participation in various community service projects year round, as well as to continue its pursuit to further FIRST all across the world.
STEMbots provides students with unique an opportunity to explore robotics and STEM through LEGO Education kits. The students experience hands-on application of STEM principals while with Common Core Standards.
Trident Robotic’s business plan chronicles the team’s growth in structural organization and can be used to aid newer FIRST teams on the pros and cons of various structures. The plan also details the team’s sponsorship efforts, community outreach programs, and future financial sustainability plans.
